Reasons Students Should Take An Extracurricular This Fall

Reasons Students Should Take An Extracurricular This Fall 4 reasons students should take an extracurricular activity this fall Kids will learn all sorts of things about core subjects in the classroom. Theyll learn the ins and outs of reading, writing, math, and science but they should also think about taking an extracurricular activity this fall. Things like physical fitness, cooking, arts and music, and other activities that encourage hands-on learning and socialization are not offered within the school environment. Students need a chance to work with other students as a team and learn how to make new friends and resolve conflicts in social situations. They also need to explore personal interests outside of the classroom environment and develop their natural talents and skills in areas that intrigue them the most our private San Diego academic tutoring helps students be successful this fall. 1. Kinesthetic learning Its important for kids to be able to participate in hands-on activities and become aware of their surroundings through physical fitness activities. Kids develop coordination when they play team sports such as baseball or soccer or when they focus on individual sports such as swimming or dance. Students engage with their environment using pencils, paint brushes, or clay in an art class where they create something of their very own. Students who interact with their environment are more likely to be cognizant of their surroundings and be curious about what goes on around them (READ: 4 Things College Prep Students Should do Before Thanksgiving Break). 2. Working as a team When kids work with textbooks, they learn all sorts of wonderful things about the subject they are studying but dont learn how to work well with others. Teambuilding and socialization are essential as students grow older and eventually go out into the adult world. Kids will need to be able to get along with all sorts of different personality types in school and in the workforce thus getting along with others is a social skill that helps young kids make new friends and maintain social harmony when they face conflict or need to solve problems with other people. 3. Developing personal interests When young kids take extracurricular classes or workshops, they have a chance to try out several different things to discover what interests them in particular. Perhaps a student loves building model cars or enjoys engineering and robotics. Another student might enjoy ballet dancing or rock collecting. The point is to expose kids to enough different activities that they can start to develop their hobbies they can look forward to participating in after they have finished all of their assignments for school. Kids are more curious at a younger age and are more likely to be open to exploring different environments and ideas that they can eventually specialize in when they get older. These personal interests can even help students in college or their career later on. 4. Discovering hidden talents Many kids have a talent in a particular field but dont even know it because they havent had the opportunity to explore extracurricular activities. Students might be talented artists or engineers but only discover this once they’ve taken an afterschool class on the subject. Extracurricular activities allow students to figure out what theyre good at. Finding a natural talent can help build self-esteem and confidence so kids can persevere in more difficult topics a school as well as figure out what some great career options might be down the road. Hospital Health Care Today

Hospital Health Care Today I have been in the unenviable position of being hospitalized for the first time in many years. Bummer. Well, yes hospital stays are never fun but I was fortunate enough to have a family doctor who was really on the ball and saw my symptoms as serious enough to place me in the medical facility and get several specialist involved in solving my illness. It turns out I had a blood infection that had latched on to a couple places in my   body. This information did not come easily and there was a lot of medical detective work involved in solving my dilemma. In fact I asked the infectious disease doctor if my case was unusual as it took almost two months and three extended hospital stays to narrow down the problem. Her answer? Their all like this! Once again; bummer. Well there is a happy ending to the story because I am now on the mend and have been able to stay out of the hospital for three weeks so far. But my health problem is not what I want to tell you about. My hospital stays is what I want to talk to you about. The last time I was in a hospital was quite some time ago and apparently things have changed quite a bit. My recollection of a hospital visit is the same as looking back as a kid pulling into a gas station with dad and three attendants come running out to serve you. Pump the gas, check the oil, clean the windshield, check tire pressure. Now a days you are lucky if you can find one guy to give you a paper towel cause your hands got soiled putting the gas in yourself. Well, I found my hospital stay to be comparatively similar. I was in one of the finer hospital facilities in southern California. Very much one of the best. This was no county medical center. (No disrespect to county facilitys) This was a prestigious private facility. So I am certainly not complaining here, merely reporting. The hospital itself was fine and the help, for the most part, was great. The problem I saw most was that the people who really keep you alive, the nurses, are so overwhelmed with too many patients each, that they do not have the proper time to really care for you. What I noticed was each nurse had to prioritize in order to be affective. More time spent with sicker patients than the healthier ones. Each nurse had 5 patients they were responsible for. As soon as one was released the nurse was immediately given another one. One of the problems is   that not only do nurses have to take care of the patients, they also have to document everything you could possibly imagine that could be documented, so that the doctors have a clear picture of the progress. This includes the process of releasing the patient when ready and doing the intake work when a new one arrives, often from the emergency room and usually under pressure. The bottom line here is truly that profit has become the prime objective in medical care. Again, I would not blame this on the wonderful medical personnel that take care of us, but rather the corporate mentality that has taken over our countrys , once fantastic medical concerns. Do people come from other countrys just to get medical care that can be afforded in the United States? Yes. But does that justify the downward spiral of our countrys future health. My message here is simple. We are all being cheated out of the human right to be able to seek decent health care, when needed. Is this all the whole Obama Care deals fault. I dont think so. I just think its like every other story you see now a days. Its greed. On a side note, nursing is still an honorable career and the wages arent bad either. Doctors diagnose, nurses heal. Science - How Chemistry Can Help Students Learn

Science - How Chemistry Can Help Students LearnEver since I was a child, I have been interested in learning chemistry. My love for chemistry has only grown over the years and now it seems as if I am falling in love with it.For a long time, I thought of chemistry as something that would be done to me in school. It was something that I had to do in order to pass a test, but that never really made much sense to me. After all, I've had other subjects in high school that I studied that I did not have to do to get into a specific university. For many years, I thought that chemistry would simply be something that I had to put in a little effort, rather than doing it.While doing research on my own, I came across something that changed everything for me. I found out that chemistry actually isn't so hard after all.For those of you who have no idea what chemistry is, it is basically a scientific discipline used to study the properties of substances by putting them under very controlled conditio ns. Students learn about elements and how they are made, as well as the properties of certain substances through a process called 'undergoing.'The main way that chemistry can help students learn about their world is through how it can help them learn about the elements in their world. Chemists will look at different elements and try to determine what is their composition. This helps them gain knowledge about the different elements that are present in the world around them. Many schools, especially in the U.S., teach their students how to do something called 'undergoing' in order to learn about a certain element. There are also a few online resources that can help you get the information that you need, whether you are doing it in your own home or you are going to college. Online resources can provide you with detailed information about the different elements and all of the properties that they possess.Of course, it is important to remember that chemistry does not just cover the knowle dge of the properties of different substances. It can also teach students how to think critically about the properties of substances that they may encounter in their lives.

Chemistry Bonding Packet Answer Key

Chemistry Bonding Packet Answer KeyChemistry is the study of atoms and their interactions and atoms are also known as atomic particles or the components of atoms. There are various chemical processes such as those involved in the production of alloys or other substances that can be used for industrial applications and science experiments.Chemistry is one of the most popular branches of the study of physical sciences. It studies the properties of atoms that exist on the earth and their interactions with each other. It also deals with the chemical reactions with other compounds. There are several methods of teaching chemistry but it is recommended that students learn about chemical processes in the form of a chemistry bonding packet answer key.Chemistry in the form of a chemistry bonding packet answer key is very beneficial to students who are pursuing a degree in chemistry. It is one of the basic methods in teaching chemical concepts to children. It is also useful for helping students to focus on the practical side of chemistry when it comes to working in different sciences. When chemistry is taught this way, it helps the students understand the concept of mixing two compounds to create a new compound. There are different combinations of elements that make up matter on the planet. If these chemical processes were to take place, the element named 'carbon' would combine with another element to form an element called 'metalloid'. Alloys of carbon with elements such as magnesium, boron, iron, titanium and silicon are commonly used to make different materials.Chemistry can be easily explained by understanding the fundamental concepts and using the chemistry bonding packet answer key. It teaches how the elements form bonds and where the atoms come from. It also teaches us the importance of gases and the elements that contribute to the creation of atoms.Chemistry can be taught by giving the student's science experiments. This will help them to develop their analytical s kills and develop the skills needed to work in the field of chemistry. Students should also explore the relationship between elements and their properties so that they will be able to apply this knowledge in their own field of study.Chemistry is considered to be one of the essential sciences in the field of chemistry. It is important for students to understand the properties of molecules to understand the world that surrounds them. Students should learn about the chemical process to show them that they have the ability to relate science to their life.

How to Pray in Islam

How to Pray in Islam Arabic Prayer in Daily Life ChaptersThe Muslim FaithHow to Pray in Arabic: The Ritual Muslim Movements that Accompany the WordsWhen Do Muslims Pray?Which Dialect of Arabic Do You Need to Be Able to Pray in Arabic?Other Religions That Use Arabic OrationsWorldwide,  the Arabic language boasts around 300 million native speakers, making it the 5th most spoken language on the planet. It is a fascinating language which has a rich history and culture, as well as having given so much to western society. There are stacks you need to know about this Semitic language.Arabic speakers are citizens of many different countries, the vast majority of which are Muslim.Even outside of these countries, there are an estimated 1 billion followers of the religion of Islam.Within Islam itself, Arabic plays a central role. It is the language that Allah used to talk to the Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel. The Prophet Muhammad then verbally transmitted this sunnah, a verbal record of teachings, deeds and sayings of God, and they were subsequently written down in Arabic in the 114 surahs (verses) of the Quran. Each surah is of different length with the shortest being only three verses, and the longest 286.This means that learning to write Arabic script is important for Muslims worldwide, but the spoken version also holds significance in the Islamic faith. It is also used in the Islamic call to prayer, also known as Adhan. According to one of the five pillars of Islam, Muslims must worship five times a day; morning prayer, midday prayer, afternoon prayer, after sunset prayer, and night prayer. Therefore across the world, Arabic can be heard daily to let each worshipper know that it is time to pray.Focusing on the Muslim-Arab world, we'll look at the principles of the prayers in the Arabic language, and not on the small number that predate the Quranic era. Before you begin to recite anything, you  must put oneself in a suitable condition to pray, which is to say that in order to have a conversation with the divi ne, one must be clean and dignified which is done by doing a procedure called ghusl. Prayer rooms and mosques, according to the faith, provide a guarantee on this issue.Having a prayer mat becomes necessary from this point of view, notably because one has take care of oneself, before praying, to inspect one's clothes and physical appearance in order to present himself in a state of cleanliness.Ablution, also know as  wudu, (ritual washings) is essentially obligatory before praying. A number of online resources provide detailed instructions on the sequence and nature of the movements.During the act of prayer, lead by an Imam, a variety of physical movements punctuate the raka'ah:Changes of position (standing, kneeling with one's forehead against the ground in a gesture of reverence called ruku, crouching, etc...)Hand movements (arms raised for the first invocation, then on one's chest, etc...)Orientation of the head (lifted towards the sky, towards the sun, in such and a such a postu re, etc...)In order to be true follower of Muhammad, properly understanding spoken Arabic makes it possible to eliminate bad habits in pronunciation as you master the accent.Oral comprehension of Arabic begins with attentive listening!Other Religions That Use Arabic OrationsThe traditional lunar calendar used by Muslims began with Hegira (Muhammad's flight to Medina) on July 16, 622.Prior to this date, the Arabic language had already existed and had served as a means of communication for a lot of people, including Christians.Because of this, you can find recognizable references in the Quran, where many names are simply Islamisized, changed to Arabic (Myriam, Yeshoua, etc...)Christian communities in the East are more and more rare and represent a number of Churches, some attached to Rome (the Catholics), and others aligned with that is known as Orthodoxy, while some are wholly independent.Veiled women on their way to pray. The Coptic people, Christians, are oldest remaining subsistenc e farmers in Egypt, dating to back to before the Islamic conquest. But the majority of these communities use a holy language other than Arabic in order to lead their lives according to Christ.Syrian, for example, even though it's a Semitic language like Arabic, belongs to a sub-group of Aramaic languages.Which doesn't preclude the existence of the Our Father prayer in Arabic. The alaouites (whose belief is a mixture of paganism and monotheistic elements), are still a part of the family of religious communities, too, since they use a dialect of Arabic found in Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey. They're a powerful bloc, contributing to a rebirth in nationalism, and then pan-Arab socialism. So if you want to know more about Islam, and in the process learn Arabic London, why not get started today. There is plenty of help online, including how to get your children to learn Arabic.
